Luis Gonzales

Luis has 24 years of experience leading and developing AI solutions, enterprise software and digital transformation initiatives of industrial enterprises with the development and implementation of ERP, Control, Analytics, Historians, GIS and Machine/Deep Learning AI platform solutions. Luis has supported over 50 customers in Asia Pacific, North and South America, Europe and the Middle East.

Luis is also the co-founder of the AI Asia Pacific Institute, a non-profit research institute for the Ethical Deployment of Learning Algorithms in society.

Prior to his current roles, Luis led Element AI in Asia as its Executive Managing Director, which is a Canadian start-up co-founded in 2016 by Joshua Bengio, winner of the Turing award and one of the godfathers of Deep Learning. The startup was acquired by ServiceNow in December 2020. He also previously helmed the role of VP & Chief Customer Success at GE Digital, and was responsible for delivery and execution of all GE Digital Projects across Power, Aviation, O&G and Transportation. Before that, he was GE Power’s VP Chief Digital Officer, responsible for Power Digital PNL in Asia.

Luis has a background from consulting with Accenture, Deloitte and enterprise software with SAP where he spent close to 15 years in the ecosystem.
