Lopeti Tufui

Lopeti Tufui is the principal hydrogeologist with the Tonga Water Board (TWB). He also serves as the Laboratory Manager for the newly established TWB Water Quality Laboratory, where he oversees analytical operations, data quality assurance, and method development to support groundwater monitoring and treatment initiatives. In addition to lab management, he leads several TWB technical projects, including the development and implementation of the Water Safety Plan and the Asset Management Plan, which form the foundation of TWB’s strategic approach to improving water supply resilience and infrastructure performance.
