Deputy Director General, Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China Profile / Bio Long Yang is currently the Deputy Director General of the Department of Atmospheric Environment, Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China (MEE). He is primarily responsible for the supervision and administration of ambient air quality, joint prevention and control of regional air pollution, response to heavy pollution weather, and noise pollution prevention and control. He has participated in the formulation of the Action Plan for the Continuous Improvement of Air Quality and the 14th Five-Year Plan Action Plan for Noise Pollution Prevention and Control, as well as the revision of the Ambient Air Quality Standards.
