Lisa Kingsberry

Lisa Kingsberry joined the Pacific Community (SPC) in 2015 as a Media and Communications Officer with the Geoscience, Energy, and Maritime division. She later served as Disaster Risk Communications Adviser in 2017 and became Strategic Communications and Knowledge Management Team Leader in 2019. Lisa has more than 15 years of experience in partnership brokering, public relations, media, evidence-based communications, and leadership. She holds a degree in Journalism and Business (Public Relations) from Queensland University of Technology.

Lisa has worked across government, non-government, and private sector environments, building strong stakeholder relationships across creative, scientific, and technical communities. Having lived and worked in the Pacific for over a decade, she has developed an extensive regional network and media connections. Her work focuses on advancing Pacific-led development through strategic communication, collaboration, innovation, and multi-stakeholder partnerships that support sustainable development outcomes in the region.
