Kyunghee Ko is the Director for the Smart City Division, Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG). She leads the Smart City Division, and it is through this division that SMG establishes and implements Seoul Smart City Master Plan, operate Smart City Cooperative System, promotes Seoul smart city policies locally and aboard, implements IoT projects, and manages the Splexcenter. Ms. Ko is currently focusing on applying blockchain technology throughout Seoul and cooperating with private sector and citizens to develop livable and sustainable smart city.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Kyunghee University and a master’s degree in Computer Science from California Lutheran University.
