Kiyoshi Nakamitsu

Kiyoshi is the Unit Head Project Administration for the South Asia, SG-Water and Urban Development in ADB. He has more than 27 years of professional experience across Asia and Africa primarily in urban development, water and environmental sanitation, social sector, and governance.

He has worked in various teams in ADB including Strategy and Policy Department, Pacific Department, and Human Resource Department after holding senior UN positions, including director UNICEF Papua Indonesia and deputy country director UNICEF Malaysia. In his current position, Kiyoshi is responsible for various urban development projects and technical assistances in Pakistan. He is currently leading large team to process a new urban development project in KP province, Pakistan.
