Profile / Bio: 

Kate Vyborny is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Economics at Duke University. She holds a D.Phil. (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Oxford. Previously, she worked on research and policy outreach on foreign aid, trade and development at the Center for Global Development and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC. Her research uses natural and randomized experiments and microdata in developing countries to provide evidence to help evaluate and refine policies to improve the capacity and performance of institutions; to develop accessible cities; and to empower women.
