Kate is a Climate Finance Specialist with ADB PSOD Agribusiness Investment Team (AIT). She has 15 years of experience in food and agribusiness, and a passion for improving the sustainability of food production, distribution, and consumption. Kate has a deep understanding of global agricultural markets and agribusiness investment, thanks to roles in commodities trading at Louis Dreyfus Company and Fonterra, and agribusiness private equity at Proterra Investment Partners. Prior to joining ADB in February 2021, Kate worked with a UK-based startup that is developing technology to produce animal feed protein ingredients using minimal land and water.
