Director, Ministry of Environment, Sri Lanka Profile / Bio K. N. Kumudini Vidyalankara is a distinguished senior administrator currently serving as the Director of Environment Planning and Economics at the Ministry of Environment in Sri Lanka. In her current tenure, she holds the pivotal national responsibility as the Designated National Authority (DNA) for Article 6.4 under the Paris Agreement. Bringing a wealth of specialized expertise to her leadership, she is the Former Director of Climate Change for the Ministry. Ms. Vidyalankara holds a Bachelor of Science specialized in Biodiversity and Conservation from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, alongside a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Kelaniya. Deeply committed to advancing evidence-based policy and sustainable institutional frameworks, she is currently continuing her advanced academic pursuits, reading for a Master of Environment Management at the University of Colombo.
