Julia Angela Mae Collado

Julia Angela Mae Collado is the OIC-Chief of the Technical Assistance Division at the Environmental, Land Use and Urban Planning and Development Bureau, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, Philippines. She is an environmental planner and an agricultural engineer. She started her career in government as a planning and technical assistant at the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board where she taught local government planners on the use of Geographic Information System to more accurately and efficiently design various maps required in land use plans and analyze available datasets to address different spatial concerns within their city or municipality. Julia earned her degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering Major in Agricultural Power and Machinery Engineering in 2011 from the University of the Philippines. She is currently taking up graduate studies for a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines.
