Josephine Romero

Josephine Romero is President of the Private Sector Jobs and Skills Corporation and Head of the Secretariat of the Private Sector Advisory Council in the Philippines, where she plays a central role in advancing private sector–led initiatives on workforce development, job creation, and skills alignment. She works closely with government, industry leaders, and development partners to design and implement programs that address labor market needs, strengthen industry competitiveness, and support inclusive economic growth.

With extensive experience in policy advisory, public–private collaboration, and strategic program management, Ms. Romero has been instrumental in shaping platforms that bridge skills gaps and promote future-ready talent development. Her work focuses on fostering innovation, enhancing employability, and ensuring that private sector engagement contributes effectively to national development priorities.
