He has previously held positions at the United States Agency for International Development, Cisco Systems, and World Bank and is currently a consultant for a number of organizations, including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Telecommunication Union, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Broadband Commission, UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and Connectivity Capital, among others. He has co-authored numerous reports on technology and development and has presented around the world on efforts to close the digital divide.
