Jito Vanualailai

Jito Vanualailai is Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Education) at the University of the South Pacific (USP), where he provides strategic leadership in academic affairs, teaching and learning, and student success across the university’s regional campuses. He oversees the development and implementation of education policies, quality assurance systems, and curriculum innovation to strengthen higher education delivery in the Pacific.

With extensive experience in higher education leadership and administration, Professor Vanualailai has contributed to advancing inclusive and accessible education across small island developing states. His work focuses on enhancing academic quality, fostering regional collaboration, and aligning university programs with national and regional development priorities.
