General Director, Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21 (ACCA21) Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Jing Huang is currently the Director-General of the Administrative Centre for China’s Agenda 21 (ACCA21), Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Among his many responsibilities, Dr. Huang oversees several international cooperation programs in the areas of Sustainable Development and Climate Change. His portfolio also covers the management of the National Key R&D Program of China in areas including Biotechnology, Water Resource, Marine Environment, Deep-sea Exploration, Natural Disaster Prevention and Relief, Solid Waste Management, etc. Mr. Huang has served across the system of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Prior to joining ACCA21, he was also the Director-General of the People's Republic of China's National Center for Biotechnology Development, promoting biotechnology research and development in the PRC. He previously held other notable positions including Deputy Director-General of Department of Personnel, Ministry of Science and Technology.
