Jieying is a lecturer in the manufacturing cluster in the School of Engineering, College Central. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University with an Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining ITE, she worked for Shimano Singapore in the Quality Department, responsible for the bicycle shifters product line and ensuring compliance to standardized practices. She further applied her skill and experience in the Smart Manufacturing Hub as she takes on the role of the Quality Control Manager. She shares her experience in Industry 4.0 with industry partners and is continually upgrading herself with the latest trends and developments. As a young mother of 2, Jieying manages her work-life balance by using technology to her advantage.
