Janaki Rupasingha

Janaki Rupasingha was employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Clipsal Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, an electrical accessories manufacturing Organization. In 1997, she joined the National Engineering Research and Development Centre, Sri Lanka. In 1999, she received the best research award for her photo type, Tablet counting machines for Government Hospitals.

In 2002, Janaki joined Ceylon Electricity Board, the organization that is the main state utility responsible for the generation, transmission, distribution, and supply of electricity in Sri Lanka.
During her period in CEB, she worked as a distribution planning engineer and Chief Engineer - Demand Side Management & Chief Engineer- Energy Marketing. Presently, she hold the position of Deputy General Manager(Commercial & Corporate )DD1.

Janaki graduated from Kharkov Polytechnical University in Former USSR in 1994.
