Isagani Soriano

Isagani Soriano has a vast experience in energy efficiency standards and labeling (EES&L) programs for various energy-consuming products. For more than 25 years he is involved in the development and enhancement of policies on EES&L program, development of standards and test method, and formulation of implementing guidelines. He also develops, designs, implements and evaluates various projects on the improvement of efficiency of energy-consuming products. He is currently the Division Chief of the DOE’s Lighting and Appliance Testing Laboratory (LATL) responsible for overseeing the overall operation and activities of the laboratory and ensures implementation of established quality management systems. LATL is mandated to provide technical testing and scientific analyses on energy efficiency and calibration methodologies with the view to enhancing energy efficiency programs. He has a Master's degree in Development Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
