Ian Munt is an urban and regional development and planning specialist with more than 25 years of experience, working for a variety of clients and on urban projects funded by ADB, Cities Alliance, CDIA, Danida, DFID, GIZ, KfW, SIDA, UNDP, UN-HABITAT, USAID, and the World Bank. He has a broad practical urban sector experience and knowledge with assignments that address municipal infrastructure, environmental planning and management, urban planning, development and renewal, urban place-making and design, heritage conservation, climate change and disaster risk reduction, economic development, transport planning, tenure security, institutional and organizational development, municipal finance, and urban governance. He is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI, UK).
