Dr. Hyun-Hoon Lee joined Kangwon National University as a Full-time Lecturer, eventually becoming a full Professor in 2001. He was also a Visiting Professor/scholar/fellow at the University of Oregon, the University of Melbourne, Keio University, University of British Columbia, and the Bank of Korea. More recently, Dr. Lee served as a Senior Analyst at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat, as well as a Senior Environmental Affairs Officer at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), and Dean of Asia-Pacific Cooperation Academy of Kangwon National University. He is also on the editorial board of a number of journals such as Korea and the World Economy, Global Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic Integration, Korea Journal of Economic Development and Korea Journal of International Trade Policy.
He obtained his doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Oregon.
