Hiromichi Katayama has been working as a UNESCO education specialist. With over 25 years of experience, he has worked extensively in the fields of skills development for employability, teacher education, and learning assessment across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. His professional background includes roles at UNESCO, OECD, the World Bank, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). He holds a PhD in international comparative education from the University of Pittsburgh (USA).
