Haidy is part of the Safeguard division of the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She is the lead focal person on labor and working conditions (LWC). She coordinates and facilitates due diligence to address LWC in ADB financed investments/projects. She coordinates and provides technical expertise to develop knowledge products and conduct training on the core labor standards, advise and conduct review on ADB investment and the integration of labor due diligence.
Before joining ADB, Haidy worked with World Vision Cambodia as Director of Policy Advocacy and Communications where she headed the child protection task force, lead the work on citizen’s engagement and governance, oversee the policy and advocacy work on various issues relating to child protection, anti-human trafficking, and economic justice.
Haidy has graduate degrees in Agricultural and Applied Economics and Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
