Elaine De Velez

FrontLearners founders Leo and Elaine de Velez have almost two decades of experience in e-Learning and are one of the top 10 winners of the 2015 IdeaSpace Foundation Start-up Competition.

FrontLearners is an e-Learning content developer and solution provider for K-12 schools, advocating the BlendEd Mastery Learning Method to help teachers improve students’ competency. Through e-Learning technologies, FrontLearners has made it sustainable to implement the Mastery Learning Method through the BlendEd Box. It contains ready-to-use e-Learning materials (e-Lessons, e-Quizzes, e-Textbooks and e-School), which teachers and students can use in the classroom with or without internet.

Prior to being a full-time education advocate, Elaine was based in Singapore as R&D Senior Director in a multinational FMCG company. She led teams in developing new product innnovations for the global market and is an international patent holder. Elaine was a Philippine Science High School scholar and a DOST scholar at University of the Philippines Los Banos where she graduated with a BS Chemistry degree, cum laude. She earned her MBA from the University of Adelaide and was awarded Most Outstanding Graduate.
