Dong-Yeol Park

Director, Korean Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training

Dong-Yeol Park is Director at the Korean Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET), where he leads research and policy advisory work to strengthen technical and vocational education and training (TVET) systems in the Republic of Korea. In this role, he contributes to evidence-based policymaking, institutional development, and the advancement of skills systems aligned with evolving labor market demands.

Dr. Park brings extensive experience in education policy and governance, serving on several high-level advisory and evaluation bodies. His recent roles include Member of the Self-Evaluation Committee and the Local Education Finance Analysis Committee of the Ministry of Education (2025), Expert Member of the Special Committee on Education Vision under the National Education Conference (2020), and Member of the National Curriculum Improvement Committee of the Ministry of Education (2023).
