Donald Wai is the Director of the Hospital Planning and Infrastructure department in Yishun Health (YH), National Healthcare Group (NHG). He had been involved in the planning, project management and commissioning of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), Yishun Community Hospital (YCH) and Admiralty Medical Centre projects between 2010 and 2017. He is currently involved in the redevelopment and masterplanning of Yishun Health Campus to expand facilities and services. He is also the current chairperson of the Green and Sustainability Committee that draws up green and energy saving initiatives in the campus to meet the Singapore government’s long term sustainability requirements for all building operators. His formal training was in the field of Mechanical Engineering and his qualifications include B. Eng (Hons) and M.Sc (Sustainable Buildingg Design) (Dist). He is also a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) specializing in air conditioning and mechanical ventilation design, operations and maintenance.
