Dr Dinesh is a medical doctor with specialisation in public health and economics and is currently the Principal Health Specialist of the Health Sectors Group of the Asian Development Bank. He has over 20 years of experience leading transformational public sector projects in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. He worked very closely with Medical Council of India which is the apex organization regulating medical education in India.
At ADB, Dinesh handles a bank-wide diverse portfolio, which includes knowledge work and transformational projects on human resources for health management, health sector assessments, pandemic preparedness, adult vaccination, Vaccine Therapeutics and Diagnostics Manufacturing and Regulatory Strengthening, Early Childhood Development Projects, and ‘One Health’ projects.
