Derald Pitakaka

Derald D Pitakaka is currently the chairman of the Arnavon community marine park. He has been with the board of management for more than 10 years. Conservation has been a passion, and he has assisted with registering an MPA in his community, the Tagu eco lodge and marine protected area.

Now he is working with The Nature Conservancy and the Barora Fa landowners to protect Barora for carbon project in Isabel province.
