Environmental Economist Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture Division, ADB Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Boland is an environmental economist in ADB’s East Asia Department, where he contributes to the ADB’s efforts to support environmentally sustainable growth in the People’s Republic of China and Mongolia. His work aims to ensure the economic and environmental sustainability of investments, including policy reforms that encourage sound environmental and institutional governance. He analyzes the financial and economic impacts of environmental externalities and increasing competition for resources, and has helped to develop tools for the business sector to incorporate natural capital issues in financial risk assessment.
