Christopher M. Reddy began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI, USA and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Oceanography at the Graduate School of Oceanography, University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI, USA. 

He's currently a Research Scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

Christopher Reddy has made significant contributions to the fields of marine pollution, the fate of ocean plastics, petroleum geochemistry, and science communication.
