Research Professor, State University of New York (SUNY) Korea Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Mr. Hsieh is Research Professor of Entrepreneurship and Founding Executive Director of the Center for Global Entrepreneurship at SUNY Korea since 2017. In the 12 years before that, he led the design and coordination of the entrepreneurship curriculum at the University of Missouri (USA), the University of Amsterdam (Europe), and Yonsei University (Korea). In 2017, Mr. Hsieh co-founded and briefly launched Knowledgeworthy.org, a platform to help conference-goers connect and network in real-time according to their knowledge and interests. In April 2019 he was invited by the United Nations Secretariat to give a talk about the effectiveness of entrepreneurship curricula in Korean universities. Mr. Hsieh received both his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and master’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and his PhD in Strategy from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
