Chandha Parajuli Neupane

Chandha Parajuli Neupane is a Technical Director at the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) with over two decades of professional experience in Nepal’s power sector. Throughout her career, she has consistently championed women’s empowerment within the utility, working at both the policy and institutional levels to create enabling conditions for female employees to excel in technical, managerial, and leadership roles. Her work reflects a strong commitment to building an inclusive and equitable organizational culture at NEA.

Chandha has been one of the pioneers in mainstreaming Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) within NEA operations, particularly under the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) program. By embedding GESI principles into planning, implementation, and service delivery, she has contributed to advancing equitable energy access and strengthening inclusive, just, and sustainable energy outcomes.
