Carlos Alberto Coca Gamito is an economist and policy adviser with over a decade of experience supporting governments and international organizations, including the ILO, ADB, UNDP, WTO, and Oxfam, across Latin America, Asia and the Pacific, Africa, and Europe. His expertise covers social entrepreneurship, private sector development, MSME regulation, labour market reform, social insurance, active labour market policies, health and education economics, and public financial management. He has facilitated high-level policy dialogues with national and international stakeholders, designed and implemented impact evaluations, and coordinated national strategies to build inclusive and shock responsive social protection systems. He has published peer reviewed research and led major technical assistance initiatives in Guinea-Bissau, Timor-Leste, and Kosovo.
