Ocean Program Director, Konservasi Indonesia Profile / Bio Budiati (Dias) Prasetiamartati is Konservasi Indonesia’s Ocean Program Director. Konservasi Indonesia is a national foundation aims to support the sustainable development and protection of critical ecosystems in Indonesia. Dias is the In-country Coordinator for Risk financing solutions and transfer mechanisms to promote climate resilience for ecosystems (Output 4 of TA 6742-REG Building Coastal Resilience through Nature Based and Integrated Solutions in Asia and the Pacific). She oversees implementation and managing Konservasi Indonesia’s ocean programs in protection and production model, megafauna, blue carbon, marine protected areas (including large scale-MPA), aquaculture, surf conservation and sustainable finance in oceans. She is part of Advisory Committee to the Oversight Committee for Tropical Forest and Coral Conservation Act (TFCCA) debt-for-nature swap program targeting Lesser Sunda-Banda Seascape and Bird’s Head Seascape in Indonesia. She has over 25 years of experience in program design, advocacy, and research. She has an undergraduate degree in urban and regional planning from Bandung Institute of Technology, a Master of Arts in Development Studies, with specialization in Public Policy and Administration from the Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands and a PhD in Coastal and Marine Resources Management from Bogor Agricultural University.
