
Per has more than 20 years’ experience in Technical and Vocational Education and Training with a special focus on increased private sector engagement for demand driven skills development. Before joining ADB as Education Specialist, he worked 10 years with the German Development Cooperation / GIZ as technical advisor, project manager and department head in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has been supporting continental bodies, national and provincial governments improving their TVET systems through facilitating public-private partnerships, introducing quality assurance and accreditation measures as well as implementing systems for training of in-company trainers and TVET teachers. Per holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Nottingham, UK.
