Blake Boulton

Blake began his career in 2004 with DHI, specializing in hydrodynamic modeling of sewer systems and infrastructure planning, including a long-term secondment to Gold Coast Water. He later spent five years delivering flood studies, drainage assessments, transport infrastructure, software development and training, while undertaking secondments within both government and private organizations. These experiences highlighted the significant influence good engineering can have on project approvals, design outcomes, and costs. 

Recognizing a growing industry focus on increasingly complex analysis rather than practical solutions, Blake founded WMS Engineering in June 2012 to deliver outcomes-driven engineering services. WMS Engineering has now grown to over 20 engineers working in three offices. In addition to working in Australia. Blake has experience working in Vietnam, Malaysia, Timor-Leste, the USA, and New Zealand.
