Blair is a modelling and flood risk specialist with over 17-years’ experience in flood risk and infrastructure design projects. Blair has worked on resilience, design, and environmental studies through Asia, the Pacific, and Africa. Blair’s original master's degree was centered on coastal geomorphology and has since focused broadly on metocean design, resilience, and the environmental impact of coastal infrastructure. Having completed a second master's in economic policy, Blair has broad interests in optimizing climate adaptation and flood risk mitigation planning and investment strategies, including incorporating nature-based solutions. Based in Singapore, Blair works internationally on integrated flood risk management projects for development organizations. This includes both coastal and inland flood risk, climate change, and related policy and economic aspects.
