Bing Bonoan

Maria Belen Bonoan is a development management professional with over 25 years of solid, on-the ground experience implementing capacity development programs for local governments. She is also a certified Philippine Environmental Planner. She has experience working with all levels of local governments and selected national agencies both in the Philippines and in Myanmar. She is currently serves as Senior Public Policy Development Expert under the Asian Development Bank’s support to the Philippine Government’s Department of Interior and Local Government, assisting the Department develop strategic policies, mechanisms, and tools to facilitate local governments’ smooth transition to full devolution.
