Bharti Garg is a professional chemical engineer currently working on the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation's (CSIRO) research project on next-generation carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology. Her research is very applicable to the power plants across countries like Australia, India and many other Asian countries which do not currently have flue gas desulfurization units and tend to deploy CCS. Before associating with the CCS research project, she worked for almost 9 years in various engineering design consultancies and EPC companies including oil and gas, water and sugar industry. She worked on various Indian and International oil and gas projects and specializes in design and documentation for basic, front end and detail engineering packages.
