Ayushman Bhatt joined the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) as a Capacity Building and Training Associate in May 2020.
His research interests include infrastructure development and management, transport economics, transport policy, high-speed railway, applied econometrics, and experimental approaches in infrastructure policy. He is a Ph.D. candidate in civil engineering at the University of Tokyo.
He holds a master of science by research from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), where he specialized in infrastructure engineering and management. He also holds a bachelor of engineering in civil engineering from the State Technological University of Madhya Pradesh in India.
Before joining ADBI, he worked as teaching and research assistant at the University of Tokyo and IIT Kanpur.
