Atsushi Kaneko

Prior to joining ADB in 2009, Atsushi Kaneko was Director and Chief Representative at the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Chief Representative at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, and Engineer at Pacific Consultants International. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University, a master’s degree in Environmental Management from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Hokkaido University.

He left his position in ADB in May 2021.
