Ashraful Amin is a seasoned humanitarian and development professional with over 16 years of experience in Africa and Asia. He has a strong background in complex operations, resilience building, climate adaptation, emergency response, and program management. With extensive leadership and management experience, he has successfully led multi-cultural teams, driven organizational change, and facilitated transitions with sensitivity.

Currently serving as Head of Climate and Resilience for the World Food Programme Asia and the Pacific Regional Office, he provides strategic guidance, strengthens government capacities, and fosters partnerships with public institutions and development partners. His expertise includes community-based adaptation, disaster risk management, social protection, and innovative program design to reduce humanitarian assistance needs where shocks are recurring.
