Ms. Anjli joined the Bank as a probationary officer in 2004; she is currently positioned as Assistant General Manager (ESG & Climate Finance Unit) at SBI’s Corporate Office in Mumbai. She is part of a dedicated unit – the ESG & Climate Finance Unit (ESG & CFU) in SBI- which has been created to coordinate and monitor the Bank's ESG & Climate Finance functions better. The unit is positioned to steer the Bank's efforts in climate finance, including engaging with various multilateral agencies for the arrangement of funds, deployment of funds, and knowledge transfer.
She has more than 20 years of experience in banking, where she has worked in the Agriculture business, SME Finance, Personal banking, Housing finance, and Branch operations. She has also worked as a Faculty member at the State Bank Training Centre and is a certified trainer in Behaviour Science. She is handling the ADB Solar rooftop Line, the KfW energy efficient Program, the KfW climate-friendly energy generation program, and green deposits. She has a master’s in computer application and completed JAIIB, CAIB, and the Sustainability and Climate Risk Professional program of GARP.
