Anita Kumari

Anita brings over 18 years of professional experience in the urban sector, working on projects funded by ADB, World Bank, UNDP, GIZ, KfW, and DFID across 14 states in India. She has extensive expertise in project management, procurement, contract management, project development, monitoring, and evaluation.

Prior to joining ADB, Anita worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for an ADB-funded project with the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation.

Anita holds a bachelor’s degree in Environment and Water Management and a master’s degree in environmental management from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata.

She has completed training in Public Procurement and Contract Management from the Fiscal Policy Institute in Bangalore and sustainable procurement training from the All India Management Association, supported by the World Bank.
