Dr. Taylor is a leadership development specialist, leadership coach, water practitioner and sustainability practitioner. His professional purpose is to build the leadership capacity of enthusiastic, self-motivated people to help them drive positive change to create healthier communities and environments, whilst demonstrating values of integrity, sustainability, enabling others and continuous learning. He has worked in the water sector for most of his 30+ year career, and did his PhD research on leadership in the water sector. Current roles include: (i) Leadership Specialist at the International WaterCentre in Australia, where he designs and delivers leadership development programs and courses for water leaders; (ii) Adjunct faculty at Griffith University, where he teaches the Graduate Certificate in Water Leadership program; (iii) Adjunct faculty at the Monash Sustainable Development Institute at Monash University, where he teaches sustainability leadership to master students; (iv) Adjunct faculty at the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales Business School, where he designs and delivers leadership-related executive education courses for business leaders; (v) Instructor at the International RiverFoundation’s RiverAcademy program for their leadership course for river leaders; and (vi) Director of his own consulting company.
