Senior Vice President, Prevent Pandemics, Resolve to Save Lives Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Ms. Amanda McClelland is the Senior Vice President of the Prevent Pandemics initiative at Resolve to Save Lives, where she leads global efforts to improve epidemic preparedness and response. A registered nurse and humanitarian expert, she has over 20 years of experience in public health emergencies, including responses to Ebola, cholera, and COVID-19. Prior to joining Resolve to Save Lives, she served as Global Emergency Health Advisor at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Ms. McClelland is widely recognized for her leadership in health systems strengthening, infection prevention and control, and community-based outbreak response. She was named one of TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in Health in 2021 for her work advancing global health security.
