Alex Strouth, Ph.D., P.E., P.Eng., is a consulting engineer at BGC Engineering, who specializes in managing risks related to mountain hazards. He has broad experience working with governments and infrastructure owners across diverse sectors and regions. He studied Geological Engineering at University of British Columbia (Canada) and Colorado School of Mines (USA). He is BGC’s team leader for ADB’s BARHKH TA in Bhutan and Nepal.
