Albert Makhmetkulov

Albert Makhmetkulov is the Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. He previously served in senior leadership positions at the State Committee for National Security, advancing from operational officer to Deputy Head of the Directorate between 2008 and 2021. He holds a degree in Jurisprudence from the Academy of the Federal Security Service of Russia and an MBA from Kyrgyz National University. Albert is fluent in Kyrgyz and Russian, with basic proficiency in English and Persian. He holds the military rank of Captain and has extensive experience in public administration and interagency coordination.
