Aileen Dalanon

Aileen Dalanon leads the Core Business and Emerging Technologies Tariff Management Team which designs tariffs for MERALCO’s core business of electricity distribution. She monitors and advocates for policies that ensure stability and fairness of electricity tariffs, as MERALCO continues to support the technological advancements in the industry. In recent years, with the influx of new energy sources and technologies, she took on the role of monitoring business models and tariff policies on renewable energy and energy efficiency, smart grid technologies, microgrids, and energy storage. She has undergone several trainings from the Renewables Academy in Berlin, specifically on Renewables Grid Integration and Green Finance.

Before joining the Tariff Management Group of the Manila Electric Company or MERALCO, Aileen was part of the company’s Utility Economics Division. MERALCO is the largest electricity distribution company in the Philippines servicing Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces.
