Ahmad (Aki) Baihaki

Mr. Ahmad (Aki) Baihaki is The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Ocean Innovation Challenge Advisor, with over two decades of experience spanning technology, ocean conservation, and sustainable finance. He previously led sustainable finance initiatives at TNC Indonesia, developing blended financing facilities for MSMEs and nature-positive enterprises. Educated at the National University of Singapore and Leiden University, he focuses on aligning tech-enabled innovation with finance models, public–private partnerships, and ecosystem-based solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked as a tech consultant in Europe before leading Global Fishing Watch Indonesia and later serving as a Senior Oceans Specialist at the World Bank, with a focus on blue economy and coastal resilience.
