Profile / Bio: 

Abishek is a water and sanitation researcher for development and humanitarian aid. He is currently pursuing his PhD on the topic of planning citywide inclusive sanitation (CWIS). His experience includes assignments with the World Bank and the 100 Resilient Cities of the Rockefeller Foundation.

Abishek is also a visiting lecturer at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), University of Oxford, and the Technical University of Berlin. His background is in engineering and policy from Anna University and the University of Oxford.

Additionally, he co-leads the Cities working group in the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) and is on the board of the Swiss Water Partnership, where he coordinates youth activities.
