Building Pathways Towards Low-Carbon Transport Systems: The “Data to Deal” Approach

The webinar presented the “Data to Deal” (D2D) approach for building low-carbon transport pathways. It highlighted complexities in transport transitions, the Avoid–Shift–Improve framework, and case studies from Costa Rica and Lao PDR. The session showcased how open data and modeling support long-term strategies, mobilize finance, and enable policy dialogues. It also introduced the Transport Data Commons Initiative and ongoing developments like OSeMobility to integrate spatial aspects into decarbonization planning.
